On the injured list…

I fell Monday night. I don’t know which hurt more, the fall or getting up.
Add to that, fb has become a trigger. I had no idea how much damage I was in for on the second round.

It’s gotten so bad I had actually thought (through some uninformed and irrational logic) of leaving Wen.

Not that anyone reads this anyway…

The anxiety from being helpless has begun.

Large corporations rule our lives, and many just stand by and watch. They even get hostile when you try to make change. The “It’s not my problem” syndrome is so rampant in our society that most people don’t even realise they are part of it.

At this point, I don’t know if we can do anything. In a pop culture the disaster of the day gets the attention and then we move on to the next.

Do you want to see less about social (don’t call it “politics” to dodge the subject) issues?

Don’t just sit there. DO SOMETHING!

How’s Your Morning: 05-13-16

A day late.
I had to fire the home nursing service because of last weekend’s debacle. A major part of healing is being able to continue with the normal things in life. I have had friends simply die because their main purpose in life ended. This week has been rough because I missed three events that were all easy for me to do. To have someone fuck things up that much is not forgivable.

So, I’m waiting in line to get my blood drawn and I hear this guy suddenly ask, “What did you think of the new Star Wars film?”

I am already in a full panic, my head is screaming, I can barely speak and it takes a full minute to recognise who it was. This is the guy who actually changed my philosophy on life. He is a huge Star Trek fan and introduced me to Bruce Lee’s teachings (“Be water” etc.) He is also the guy who picked me up and threw me when I weighed 300lbs and taught Wendy to do the same.
On the health front: We have nailed down two of the things that made me ill this weekend, but we still have to make sure nothing else is wrong.
